Liam Souza started the Huggie Game in 2018 at his school with a couple of friends. Little did he know it would turn into the largest fictional country simulation wiki on the internet a few years later. Souza founded Huggiepedia in 2023, and it gained popularity in 2024 until its demise when the school shut it down (over possibly the worst reasoning the administration could muster). Souza recreated Huggiepedia from scratch, not in the school administration, in 2025. As of 2026, Liam Souza now proudly hosts tons of users on Huggiepedia and is looking forward to new projects.
Benjamin Rounsaville joined the Huggie Game in 2018 and now is part of the wider Huggiepedia. He has always been the head administrator on Huggiepedia and takes pride in the Huggie Game. He supports the Huggiemedia community by contributing to new projects. He has also made over 400 memes specifically about the Huggie Game, though unfortunately most of these memes have been erased with the rest of the old Huggiepedia
